Mostly the benefits but Piedmont had some surprisingly good health, vision, and dental compared to what I had even had at some fortune 500 size companies. Looks like the unions have aligned that part to match mainline US since they own Piedmont. That's where I'll be heading this Monday. Looking forward to it!
Congrats and best of luck on your new gig! And thanks for having the integrity to call your former employer out on their shoddy maintenance practices . . . I'm sure someone will pay them a visit in the future and ask them to, shall we say, enhance their safety policy . It's great to hear that you have moved on to bigger and better things! Cheers.

Would love to know how your training is going. I'm thinking of applying with Piedmont, so any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Does the program seem extremely demanding? How many in your class? What is the housing situation (single or double)? Is there any computer based training at home prior to classroom? Thanks...
