Default Jepp Approach Plates

Does anyone know how to obtain free Jepp approach plates to use in a sim? I am trying to get current again and just cant get used to the government charts.

Thanks.

You want free plates from a commercial for-profit operator?

I'm assuming that you mean for personal home use with your simulator, otherwise I'd assume that the training provider would give you the charts required (as CAE just did - - and offered both)

Figured they cost money for a reason

Strictly for personal use to regain proficiency. Thought there might be a link somewhere with outdated charts for download.

Let us know if you find one but I can't help you - sorry.
I've not come across anything of the kind for Jepp.

Come on over to the AIS world!
All those approach plates for free off of SkyVector or AirNav (or even the FAA's own digital navigation link)

Talk to someone at your local flight school. Bound to be someone with an out of date set they wouldn't mind giving up.
