Really?

So all CEO's of the Airlines since the beginning of scheduled revenue flight, all have MBA's from Harvard?

Nobody cares if you went to Big Franks CFI school in Pahokee Florida, or Embry Riddle. Enjoy your college life, get your ratings in the summer or on the weekends, then you'll have a CFI job waiting for you with a four year degree in your back pocket and all sorts of fun college memories.

I like that, yea so your telling me get my ratings little by little such as my PPL, instrument, commercial, multi, CfI, CFI-I and CMEI so when I finish college just work as an instructor niceee. Thanks a lot

Yeah, that's how I did it. And I did it with less than 3.5k for flight training, while going to classes and pumping gas on FBO ramps... taking most of my rides with the Feds (you do know that the Feds cannot charge you for a check ride, right?). I also did my CFI initial check ride for free with the local FSDO... then got hired as a CFI at a local flight school, and my II, MEI were also free as the flight school with which I was hired had a DE who didn't charge his CFI's for check-rides.

It's called networking, prospecting, studying hard.

For real.

If you do not have discipline at age 17, how exactly do you expect to get advice from real pilots who program an FMS many times per day? Or hired at all in the industry?

(ughh... the text generation...)

Invest in aviation aversion therapy, Shave your legs and pay for the therapy as a B-girl in Vegas.

I suppose it's better than where many who I met, who had the same attitude as the OP, ended up....

...at the bottom of a smoking hole...

Well I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way, I am pretty aware of how to spell (you) in matter of fact. Yes I am 17 and very respectful to others, it seems that you just woke on the wrong side of the bed sir. ''Respect is earned'' as the old saying says . Have a great night hope seeing you in the future.

Yes, respect is earned. Remember that.

I don't think he was trying to correct you, rather I feel he was trying to see how you reacted to being corrected.

If you have the same attitude in an interview, or if a DE tries to correct you, you will lose every time.

And don't be a kiss ass either.... sir.

Sleep well... and learn from those you trust, before you learn from your mistakes.

Either way, learn.
