Default CAE Oxford- MESA

Just curious. Are there any instructors here that currently work for CAE-Oxford out of KFFZ. I see that they are looking for CFI's. Seems like good pay, benefits, and hiring bonus. On the surface it looks like a really good deal, but was looking for any red flags that I should know about.

I know one person that used to instruct there. Overall, she enjoyed her experience.
The only thing she mentioned is the fact that the indoc is very long (30-45 days).
The EASA side of the operation seemed very structured and they bubbled wrap the students and instructors.

Any other current info would be appreciated. I might also be applying there soon.

I'd like more info on this as well.

I am an FAA CFI, could I instruct on the EASA side?

Not to scalp the thread but you can also do the EASA at CTC (an L3 Technologies Company) and the salary starts at $46,000 plus full bennies if that's what people are after. Seems this EASA line of work pays more I've found in my experience if a flight instructor can say so anyway.

No, EASA licenses are fully separate from FAA certificates. You'd need an EASA FI(A) rating to teach EASA students.

Most companies are giving the training for the qualification to EASA in a matter of a couple weeks for the abbreviated FI (A). This will certify an FAA CFI counterpart to operate under EASA.

IIRC, CTC also had some sort of bridge program with Continental. It was very similar to the Commutair deal. You had to work for them 2 years or 1500 hours (which ever came last). I just went to their website to verify that but they have completely revamped it. You might want to look into though, it seemed like a really good program they were offering especially with the salary they are offering.

Not sure but I had a buddy say the base salary is down to $27k which is laughable especially if that quote was for EASA certifications. They have an FAA program as well. At my company the pay scales are not the same or hardly even close.
