Almost everyone on the US bases has left over the last few years. Just a handful left. They'll be given the option of going to Hong Kong if they can get visas issued(the Canadians, Brits, and Aussies were not as fortunate during covid and were basically fired), or they'll be given a severance package if they choose not to. The end of an era. CX is not what it once was.

We have had a good number of overseas pilot new-hires lately, here at Atlas: CP, Emirates, Qatar, FlyDubai, etc.
Most seem to like it. Some of the EK pilots went back as Captains, keeping their old seniority. I flew w one of the EK guys. He didn't go back, said didn't want a repeat of what happened to him again.
We also have a lot of Australians recently, on the 5 year? visa... some of whom I think were at CP...
