Airbus VS boeing
What going on with boeing!!! Airbus is picking up every order in dubai airshow!! I personally think boeing has better airplanes. It is also political, (iraq war).

well heres an excerpt of an email that was sent out to EK. heres their official position
"Candidates who are up to 500 hours below total and/or multi-engine jet hours are invited to submit their applications and may be offered the opportunity to attend a selection programme in Dubai. Successful candidates must, however, meet published minimum hours requirements prior to joining"
so it sounds like theyre sticking with 4000 TT to be hired, 3500 to interview

nah everyone knew EK was looking for BIG airplanes. they did not make that a secret. They asked Boeing to make a extra capacity version of the 787 and Boeing didnt do it. So obviously they went with the 350. no brainer they want BIG airplanes

Anybody know EK's position on people that reapply? In 2006 I interviewed, tested and did a sim check in ATL. Subsequently I was asked to Dubai for further interview but I declined because my carrier was about to maker a big BK payout. Plus I knew I was going to get checked out in the 747-4. Is it worth my time to fill out the application again? Any inside info is appreciated? Thanks...

And if you read the blurbs, EK is still trying to get Boeing to move on a longer range 747-8 pax version.
