I talked with VAus but was only offered a JFO interview. Since I already have a window seat on the 777, and was a former USAF Instructor Pilot, I told them I would wait for a SFO job. Hopefully they call back some day, looks like a great new opportunity for Australia.

By your avatar are you looking to get on with them/already hired?

It's a great option for going home but they're only after guys with 777 time at the moment; lots of EK and CX guys in the initial classes. Without the triple time I'd have to pay for a type and that's a whole different story.

We'll see though, have a Yarpie mate who knows all the head guys. (They're all ex-SAA)

I understand that due to the lack of pay there are very few/no takers from EK or CX, hence all the SAA guy's. The CX guy's I know who are moving are going to EK, and the EK guy's vice versa. . . looking for a change of scenery I guess.

Hey Mayfly, it's the 29th. I'll tell you all about it later.
