Ah yes, it's just one great deal after another...

What other job out there requires you to start at the bottom every time, AND burn all your bridges behind you so that you have no options to fall back on in case your new job doesn't work out? Don't you just love it?

Oh yeah, and add on your training bond so you are basically an indentured servant to your new company for the next 3 years.

So, is Etihad any different than EK in terms of management style and morale? I can't even read PPrune anymore...too depressing.

Thanx for the reply, Bubi. Finally... an answer. Much appreciated.

Etihad has NO training bond. The only thing they have is a "settling-in alowance (basically furniture allowance)" of $11000 that is pro-rated over three years. Free to go at anytime just pony-up the difference.
Morale at EY all depends the on fleet you are on. The widebody guys are generally very satisfied and don't complain much, whereas the 320 guys is a totally different story.

I'm on the 330/340 and personally my QOL is OK, do two ULR and two European trips per month, with a filler of a couple of regional trips if on standby.
