121 vs. 135/91K are very different jobs, I only know of one 65+ former 121 guy flying jets but YMMV. The larger operators will not look at your massive amount of 121 time as an asset, but more 'retraining'.

Where do you live? Most of these jobs will be home based.

CAE pays more than FSI.
CAE instructors also get Fri/Sat or Sun/Mon off.

Jet 2 and 3 (Beechjets and Citations) pay equal to what a line capt would make. Jet 5 (G’s and BBJ’s) make about 2/3 of what a line capt would make.

I think the Op still wants to "fly." Therefore FSI and CAE may not be options being considered.
