Merit = kiss a$$
Seniority = is there such a thing at Flex. How many times has the seniority list been redone.

If they offer you the Phenom and you don’t want to fly it, just move on. Excluding the super exclusive Gulfstream and Global fleets, I would be up front about what type you want to fly. Want to fly a CL300/350 or E450/500, tell them. Your employment is a two-way street and, if you are qualified, it is a pilots’ Market. Plenty of great airline and corporate jobs out there paying better than Flexjet. Any job offer is a negotiation and you can always walk if you are not happy with your offer or initial fleet assignment.

Wrong. You are clearly not aware of the huge hiring boom outside of your bubble. Flexjet is not competitive in many respects. Sorry to break it to you.

Yes - to the exit if you are not happy. Plentiful alternatives out there. I know a Lear Captain who just accepted a new job at $200K for roughly 30-40 hours per month - again, as a Lear Captain....

Merit = Do your job without kissing ass. I speak from the Flex side. Can’t speak of Options.

The seniority list has been redone once, since the union strong armed the process.

You are exactly correct. When Delta Airlines extends you an offer to fly the 717 you should tell them to pound sand unless they put you into the 777, right? Or when you get that dream offer at FedEx you should tell them you won't work for them unless they put you into the 777F as a captain. If that doesn't work out, you can always go to NetJets and fly as a copilot for 13+ years.

Uh huh. Any job offer is a negotiation. Sooooo, one who gets hired at UAL, AA, DAL and you can start demanding which plane they put you on. “I’ll take the 787 in Denver, thank you. If not, I’m walking.”
Like I said, Dummy.
