Default CitationShares aircraft training

I will be going to sim training in Orlando and am not sure what to expect. Does anyone have any insight as far as how long ground school is, how many sim sessions there are, how long the whole process typically takes, what hotel we typically stay at, and how good the instruction at flight safety is. The schedule in my packet did not offer any of this information and I am just curious. Thanks!

i think everything is 17 days except the C680 whic is 21 days. I could be wrong though. Crown plaza is the only hotel I've ever stayed at there. lots of food near by.

good luck.

Crown Plaza, free shuttle to/from Flight Safety. The first few days are all academics from 8 to about 5. Sims start Friday of the first week. You work on Saturday, but are off Sunday. Once you start sims, you mix in classes as well. Test on systems the first Fri or Saturday. Learn the memory items and limits before you go.

Make sure you sign up for Priority Club when you check into the Crowne. That will get you free breakfast and appetizers M-F in the lounge.

Orlando Ale House is just down the street. It's a cool place to hang out and they have good lunch specials. Next to it is American Pie, two slices of pizza and a drink for about $4 at lunch, with 80s videos playing nonstop.

A lot of people pool together to rent a car at Thrifty, which is next to the hotel. This is especially handy when your sims start and everybody gets on a different schedule.

Definitely know your memory items and limitations before you go.

Does anyone know if the company provides the hotel costs and per diem during training? Also, do they consider the start of training to be the start of employment for the purposes of benefits etc?

Netjets pays hotel and perdiem while training and benefits start the day you start indoc or sim, and you don't pay anything for the benifits, company pays 100%.

That sounds nice... now if only they would come up with a better domicile system, then it would sound much more attractive.

But does anyone know about the training status at CitationShares?

CitationShares pays for the hotel, per diem, salary while in training, airfare to/from training, and you are covered for benefits the first day of the month following your employment date.

Employment starts on your travel day (the day before training starts). You pay for the hotel and the company reimburses you. You do get paid per diem and full salary during training.

I applied online this past Sunday and was called Monday and asked the standard questions; why CS..etc. I am praying this evolves into an interview.

My question is do you still have to draw a system?

Do you have to do a performance problem using a Citation POH? I have no experience with that. Any suggestions?

Thanks Guys
