I’ve seen promotional videos of pilots saying they are home at night frequently. So, you may work more days, but you’re home a lot more during your work block. Is that true? Or just kinda true?

Hey,
Your answer can probably best be found in the Part 135 Section of this Forum. But according to friends there, QOL varies with the account. With a 3 pilot account, QOL is OK.. A 2 pilot account......

Hey,
A few quick answers to your questions:
Pay is what you negotiate for the position. How often you are away from home depends on airframe and pilots on the account. Currently the light jets are flying a lot more since Covid started. There are 8 hard days that you bid per month. If on a 2 pilot airplane you are expected to match your days off with each other; a 3 pilot crew is expected to ensure all days off do not overlap. The crews are great and the company treats us well .
Feel free to PM if you have more questions.
