On the Volato interview prep topic is there anything we can share about the technical interview? Jepps, desktop sims, bad day scenarios, FARs, explain a aircraft system, rules of thumb, anything? Aviationinterviews does not have them. How long is it?

I see the advert is out for G280 PICs, anyone know what the pay scale is for that? Also why wouldn't they hire from within? Not 280 rated here but lots of Gulfstream experience.

First two years listed in the job posting:
Salary
  • Year 1 - $210,000
  • Year 2 - $230,000
  • Extra Duty Day and Extended Duty Day Compensation
I believe that they are hiring from within, but want/need some folks with time in type to shore up the initial cadre.

Default Volato loses $32M in 2023

https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-n...ource=hs_email

$13.4M was a non-cash write down

Supply chain problems have been slowing down growth

2024 and 2025 looking better for deliveries,

Company expects to take delivery of 22 HondaJet Elite 2's and 4 Gulfstream G280's in 2024&25.
