Yeah, I did hear back...Heather Orton called me and said they somehow got the wrong email address for me. I've now filled out some paperwork and am currently hoping to get called for an interview. Don't know what to think about the 'on file' status. I'll be hoping for the best for both of us.

Hey danerickson11
I don't think you or I have enough posts to pm yet, could you email me at [email protected] I need some info re: your work @ FlightSafety. Thanks.

Can anyone tell me the process from initial contact to interview? I have sent in an initial contact and was called by the recruiter. She asked me to fill out a short (one page) questionnaire on flight times and to send copies of my certificates. This is as far as I have gotten so far and I am curious what the next step is.

When I sent in my resume they sent an application to fill out a few days later which included a test covering basic IFR and some VFR type questions. After I sent in the application packet I waited about 2 weeks until they called to set up an interview. I first sent my resume in early February, and interviewed in late March. I start training tomorrow, so it seems to take a while from first applying until you actually start. If you have any other questions let me know

What are they saying in terms of upgrade estimates for newhires (assuming they meet the minimums for upgrade)? Also, are newhires being trained on both the PC12 and the NG version of the PC12 all at once?

As far as upgrades, I have heard as low as 6 months if you have the time and most likely around 12 months or so. I still don't know if they are planning on training us on the NG version in our initial ground class. All of the info and manuals I have received so far is for the regular PC12, so I am thinking that they will wait to train us on the NG until later when they have more of them.

Hmm...already sounds different from my experience thus far. I haven't gotten a test of any kind, just the one form to fill out with flight times. At what stage, if any, did you have to do that? Was that before or after (or with) the test you took?

I filled out a form with my flight times along with the application and test.

Just got that packet in my inbox this evening! Thanks again for answering quickly. What can you tell me about the interview? Also, out of random curiosity, what is the uniform like?

Good luck in training!
