Early '09, and I think between 2 and 3 crews per a/c. 2 is what they are shooting for now with the PC-12's, but that will change once 7/7 comes into effect.

Translation: Lots of hiring

Gotta love hearing that carrot being dangled. Good place though for some initial experience beyond flight instructing. Could be 4-5 years before anyone hired today sees that Grob though.

If they operate the PC-12s dual I doubt the Grob will be operated single pilot...

Wanted to get people opinion on the company. I am currently flying for a 121 regional airline and live within 15 minutes of PSM. I want to get into the fractional end of flying. I current have approx. 1000TT 350 ME with 300 Turbine. Would it be a good decision to leave a multi engine jet to fly a se turbo prop. I have heard good things about the company, and that the pilots love it. The quality of life would be a lot better for me not having to commute but I currently am a line holder and block appox 100 hours a month.

I guess part of the answer to this question relies on the potential upgrade time. How long before a PC12 FO could upgrade to PIC? PC12 SIC time is pretty much worthless... It would be a step backward if you already have good time and have to sit in the right seat for more than a year IMHO.

I have also read that the Grob FOs will be taken from the PC12 PICs. Is this correct? Any Grob salary estimates available yet?

At my interview they said that upgrade is all based on merit not seniority. As long as you meet the time requirements you can upgrade to captain. I already had the time, they said it could be as little as 2 months or 8, it just depended. The Grob pilots will be pulled from the PC12 capts. They will fly them 2 pilot and will be arriving in the beginning of '09. They are going to start with three and then start phasing more in after that. The payscale will be higher but they havent said anything yet that I know of. Thats really all I know, I start training Feb 7.
