Default Netjets Intl info req??

I just sent my resume to NJI. I am a PIC121 guy looking to make the change. Being there done that. Had enough of the airlines.
Any info on future hiring. what are my chances of getting a call. Strong resume here. No G type rating tho.
thanks

Best of luck to you. No apparent rhyme or reason to hiring decisions. Internal recs help but no silver bullet. Literally thousands of resumes on file from Gulfstream typed people.

As for hiring, two more jets this year (450/550) and forecast 4-6 jets per year net growth. 5 additional pilots for each jet (a sixth pilot for every 3rd airplane) translates to about 30-35 pilots per year (with virtually no attrition). Of those 30-35 spots, roughly 1/3rd are filled by transfers from NJA via a letter of understanding between their union and the company. The rest are hired "off the street."

Good operation with great people, nice equipment, interesting destinations.

There's always a but. Things could get "complicated" late next year and into '09 especially for new hires.

My advice would be to try and find a connection for an internal rec, do your research, and hope for the best.

GW is right. I've had my resume in for several months, and know several guys working there now. Nothing so far, despite their best efforts. My guess is that there must be a pile of resumes sitting on a desk, and when they need someone, they just grab a resume off the top.

I've been told that all the classes for the rest of the year are filled. No word yet on hiring plans for next year.

Thanks guys for the replies. Being with the airlines for quite sometime now, and I am ready to make the change. I did fly part91 before, and I had a very good experience. Very dissapointed here with the airlines. NJI seems to be the best fit for the transition. Nice jets, international flying and best my home will be my domicile. Are u guys with NJI or Netjets?

"I can't say."

"You mean you don't know or you can't say?"
