Better paycheck maybe? Money buys happiness which means he'd be happier at netjets...

Certainly, NetJets offers a superior pay structure. I have applied at NetJets as well but there are no certainties in receiving an interview. So, CitationShares offers another option.

Another question for the Shares pilots. How do they determine your home is within 120 minutes of a base? I am looking at a home that is 140 minutes from base according to googlemaps but actual drive time is about 100 minutes.

I wouldn't say they reduced the mins. Sure they require less Multi-engine time, but it's 500 hours PIC vs. 1500 total fixed wing multi. The total time required is still 2000. That puts me out of the race. I had all their old requirements, but don't meet the new ones.

they are nazi's about this. they use yahoo maps according to the CP and there are no exceptions to the 120 rule. Totally stupid if you ask me

Ahh...therein lies the rub. Unfortunately we at CS never hear anything (positive) from the company!

[quote=BE200CPT;309945]Why the switch to the seniority system suddenly? Is this a possible movement toward increased schedule options for pay changes?[\quote]

The company is getting too big to keep using the merit system. The wording they used in the seniority system memo allowed for new schedules to be introduced, but nothing is currently in the works.

I'm guessing that two were FOs and your friend was one of the captains (majority of the company).

I talked to a CS pilot who told me that Wichita, KS is one of their bases, but it's not listed on their website. Does anyone know? I live just outside of Wichita with 3300 hours TT and 2000 hours PIC ME of which 1900 hours is in a turboprop.
