NetJets From App to Interview?

The answer is "it depends"
Speaking from experience, whether you buy expensive software or handwrite your application isn't going to determine whether you get an interview. Whether it's mailed or emailed won't make any difference other than the time and date it is received. What will matter is whether you can follow directions. The line to get invited to interview isn't equal opportunity. They stack the deck according to what they want, so some will get invited to interview within a month or so, and some might wait for many months. It seems to take a month or two to get acknowledgment that an application was received. After that long you might want to inquire. There really aren't any application tricks, and while an LOR certainly helps, it's not true that w/o one you won't get an interview. Nor do you need 5000 hours minimum or whatever number I've heard a couple times. It is competitive, but don't give up just because you have 1500 hours or don't have a typewriter! Cheers.

NJ International is done hiring. I hear one more interview group and that's all she wrote. Soon NJA will be the only path that gets you there.

I mailed my application early January. I received an email on January 18th stating that they had received the application and needed a copy of my driving record which I emailed to them the next day. I received noticed that they received my driving record. I have 3400 TT 2300 ME with 2100 PIC ME turbine. I have not heard anything else.

I sent in my app. Jan 2nd, got the app. recieved email middle of Feb. and just got invited (on 3/27) to an interview April 8-10. I have 2 LORs and about 4000 hrs. including 1500 ME PIC ( freight job) and 150 TPIC in a CRJ.
I don't think a lack of TPIC matters (obviously in my case). Oh....and I hand wrote my application . For the record, my hand writing sucks. Good luck to everyone.

I just printed it out, filled in all the spaces in my best 2nd grade penmanship and mailed it in. If that's not good enough, then I don't want to work for them anyway!

Here is my time frame....Mailed App in the first week of December. Received email that they had my application and driver record request on Jan.18th. March 30th got email that I was being invited to interview in April. They had several dates available, and I am interviewing on April 14th-16th. I had 2 LOR from current NJ pilots, I am typed in 2 of their fleet types, 4100 TT, 1700 Turbine of which 1500 is Jet and half of that Jet PIC. Good luck to all, I know its hard to wait.

They're really looking for attention to detail and how well you can follow directions.
Also as for now they like the applications to be mailed, UPSed or FedExed, since the e-mail account is blocking constantly by the size of the application files.
Also every application is scored, based on qualifications.
And as for LOR one or two. Three or more won't give you any extra points.
They're looking for people's skills, customer service and flying skills on the LOR.
Pretty much is matching the pilots with the usual NetJets "customers" if you know what I mean.
Good luck

Here's a quick rundown of my timeline.
End of Nov. 07 emailed them my resume.
Got the application package in the mail about two weeks later.
Mailed back the application around the middle of Dec. 07.
Five weeks later I got the email that said they recieived my application.
Two and a half months later they send an email invite for an interview.
Good Luck
