Actually when I was used to hearing it (back in Portland, OR) it was the callsign of the Intel Corporate Shuttle. They were operating BE-1900s and ERJ-145s. This was current as of last summer.

This FAA Publication has the three letter, callsign, and company information all cross-referenced.

(copy and paste this if the link doesn't work: http://www.faa.gov/atpubs/CNT/CNTHME.htm)

Jetspeed is EJM, executive jet management. A 135 company that manages and flies charters for owners who want additional usage from their aircraft. Part of Netjets, but a cousin. Netjets as it exists now is NJA, Netjets Aviation (what is normally thought of as Netjets)(callsign execjet), NJI, Netjets International, who flies Gulfstreams and will probably be merging with NJA in the next few years(callsign is N4xxQS or N5xxQS), EJM (callsign jetspeed), NJE, Netjets Europe, like NJA, but HQ's in Europe and NJME, which operates out of the middle east (Saudia Arabia, I think) and NJLA, Netjets Large Aircraft, who flies the BBJ's, but we are getting rid of them at the beginning of next year and those pilots/FA's are all going to either NJA or NJI. Don't don't the call signs for NJE or NJME.

when we did our 135.299 ride a couple of months ago our poi said that we had close to 170 jets under the ejm banner. ejm has added about 30 or so jets this year to its fleet. usually once a leg a controller in the system will use execjet. The paper strips must look very similar.

I know we are EJA. We get eagle flight every so often because they are EJF.
