That is an interesting point.
I think that making an option in the settings on the iPhone to disable the camera would not be difficult.
Also, in a corporate environment, administrator access could be something managed on the phone to address this, just like on a laptop or desktop.

[QUOTE=emb145captain;37557 an unlimited data plan that is the cheapest in the market.
Hate to break it to the iPhone haters out there, but it is the future. It's OS is based on a the highly stable and extensible Mac OS X, unlike any other phone.[/QUOTE]
So what is their data plan cost? I have verizon its 60 bucks a month for internet and than my verizon fone is another 60 bucks so 120 total each month is what Ipay, is the Iphone a better deal for internet and phone?

EDGE data is perfectly adequate for me since I don't bother loading full websites with ads and banners. I bookmark RSS feeds and those load super-fast on the iPhone. It does email just fine, and loads the weather and stock widgets great. I get on fltplan.com just fine and check weather and file flight plans too.
3G is not as great as some people think it will be. The main problem is the fact that there is very little 3G coverage in the US. 3G will be a big improvement for European users though.

Comparing edge to 3G is like comparing 56k to DSL/Cable. For what I do, edge is useless.

By those statements, I will conclude you have NEVER used 3G internet. Anyway, Verizon's EVDO network is very large. I have EVDO coverage in every city I've gone to, except Springfield/Branson Missouri - and that was just at the airport.

You are also paying much more for 3G speeds if you are on an unlimited data plan, and your battery life suffers when using that chip.
I should have said "very little coverage" when compared to the cell network (for calling). I get EDGE anywhere I get cell.
Using "browsers" on non-iPhones is great if you like small screens and slow, crappy interfaces.
The next iPhone will have 3G, and I am sure the infrastructure and technology has advanced in the year since the first iPhone was released to make it that much better than EDGE.
My point is mainly that the iPhone has provided a hugely-superior experience and capability to mobile users that easily compensates for the slower EDGE speeds.

Never knew that Blackberries had a sexual orientation... As far as the iphone goes though, parked at an FBO next to a F/A-18 which was going from colorado to Virginia. The pilot aboard got his weather briefing and filed on his iphone, it must be good.
