How hard is NetJets on the 2500 mins?
Anyway around getting an interview earlier? What about an internship?
Thanks

The mins are "hard", no bending, and depending of where you come from, the mins might not be enough.

Please correct me if I'm way off, but It seems to me like if you come from a regional and/or companies like Airnet, Ameriflight, you'll need anywhere from 4-5000 hrs. Corporate background, probably 3000+. The military dudes get interviews right at mins (for obvious reasons).

To my knowledge, no internships for pilots. An IOE captain told me NetJets loves telling our owners all pilots have a minimun of 2500 flt. hours. Pilot experience is a big selling point.

Not trying to discourage you from applying, as soon as you hit the mins, apply, don't wait. Good luck

I would think the competitive mins are well in excess of 6000 hours now...

I think competitive is still the mins with a LoR from someone at NJA. After that, you are on your own at the interview.

FWIW, I'm at 6300 TT and I was right in the middle of my group of 9 interviewees.

I don't know if you can define competitive. I know guys who are still waiting after 7 months with more hours and LORs than guys called in a matter of weeks with 2501TT and no recs.

My buddy is CA on the X and he is shaking his head. Can't get his LORs to do much, while guys walk in off the street with less time and no recs. he is PO'd!

Certainly the more time the better, I think being typed in one of their acft and having time in it is a huge benefit, also having frax experience is a huge one as well. I know a guy who worked at another frax, before his 121 pax carrier, has a 400 type and 7000TT and they called him in 2 weeks and called him several times to follow up. HR out and out pursued him.
