Ohio,

There are several web sites that have examples of resumes. You can also pay to have a professionally written resume or cover letter.

The only thing I can add is that your NetJets resume and cover letter should not look like any other. You need to find your “Customer Service Niche” that sets you apart from all the other applicants. Devote some space to your aviation experience but you need to just as much space to customer service experience.

Study the NetJets web site as well. It will give you some guidance at to what they feel is important.

Good luck, TZ

Actually, there are a lot fewer resumes on file than you might think. Remember that it all went online towards the end of last year and the system was flushed.

I heard this from a chief pilot, first week of December, the HR dept. has 3000 resumes attached to at least 1 LOR on file. But yeah you're right, the system was flushed.

Thanks for the a relatively specific number. Before the "flush", I had heard rumor of over 10,000.

Well, I sure hope things start to pick up in this economy.....soon.

You should not need any help writing a proper cover letter.

So, does that mean that I should have not been hired at my last three airlines, cause I have had help with every cover letter I have ever written. Sorry, I am just not understanding what you meant by that.

Not at all. I just mean that anyone whose first language is English and is smart enough to fly airplanes and should be able to compose a simple cover letter.

If you or anyone else doesn't have anything constructive to say. Please take your 23 year old 1505 total time posterior and leave this web site. The whole pilot group would appreciate that.
