Default Cover Letter for Netjets?

I apologize if this has already been posted, but does anyone know where to find some help on creating a nice cover letter? I would like to send a Cover Letter to Netjets, but I'm not sure where to start.

All help is really appreciated!

You do know that they have THOUSANDS of resumes on file, dozens of guys who interviewed last summer and were hired but still don't have classes, are parking planes faster than they are getting them and will most likely furlough in the first half of this year, right?

Sorry to be glum, but that ship has sailed. You have a better shot of sending your cover letter to NASA in hopes of being selected for an astronaut position.

Glasss was right about the number of resumes on file and I'm not sure about the rest of his information, but if you want to send a cover letter and resume to NJA then you can find examples of each on the APC homepage. They have some good examples and you can spruce them up with your own flair.

No time to fight about it - I just scoop up a flight!

Seriously though - if the number of resumes was going to deter me from searching for a job then I'd better just stop looking right now! All you can do is put together the best package you can, send it in and hope some fairy dust gets sprinkled on it and the moons align and you get a call in the not too distant future. No segment is looking great right now, but like my money guy keeps trying to tell me about the market (as it could relate to the job market) - "get out now and you won't be around when the good times start coming around again" [paraphrased of course]

For what it is worth - the OP just wanted to know where he could get an example cover letter and I pointed him in the right direction.

A couple of the things glasspilot said are true, not hiring at present, thousands of resumes on file (I heard about 3000 have at least 1 LOR), and many guys waiting for a class. No plans to furlough at present, but definetly a possibility.

What you should take from this is that you're not going to get a call anytime soon. You'll probably get the recall from Comair before you get a call from NetJets. But it is what it is, just like the majors, you mail your resume along with 5000 other guys and hope for the best. Nothing else we can do.

My advice, if they're taking applications, send it in, get your name in the hat. Great place to work

ohio,

I believe that everything is being done online as of a few months ago. If I were you I would get my info in and keep it updated routinely. Glasss' observation of resumes on file and current hiring status is correct but the rest is speculation and, in my humble opinion, show's a lack of understanding of the business model, company culture, BH philosophy and is far from an accurate picture.

Do yourself a favor and be in the best possible position when the flood gates open up. It will happen with short warning.

Good Luck!

Thanks to all of you who have been helpful. Some people on here obviously don't have any idea what this web site SHOULD be about.
