I talked to some Flight Options pilots today. I was hoping for some good news about the TA. Sadly I did not get that. From what I heard regional pilots will be doing better than Flight Options pilots. I was hoping for a TA that will strengthen the industry not hurt it. Good luck guys. If I was there and the economy did not suck so bad I would be looking for work somewhere ells.

From an IBT guy...

"Captain salary increases of approximately 39% over five years and First Officer increases of approximately 27% over five years highlight the agreement along with labor protections and scope provisions. Additionally, maintenance of insurance benefits and cost controls, improvements to the 401(k) Plan, a 33% increase in the amount of paid time off pilots can accrue yearly, improved vacation benefits, two new schedule types, an expanded basing system, and labor-management cooperation and alternative dispute resolution procedures are part of the agreement."

I'm not familiar with their current contract... is that bad because if failed to match NJA, meaning the other fracs still pay more or is it in reality a bad deal all around???

there was NO contract before, this is a first. It did pass, approximately 95 percent of eligible voters voted. 88 percent to ratify.

Lets just say the pay sucks, and I'm too imbarrased to post it. All we could look forward to is that some day we get new management. Nothing against Avantair, but even their pay is way better than Flops. The only thing we can hope for is the vague bonus program that will pay us when we grow.

Inflation will be increasing at a rate of about 4 percent/year. Over 5 years, your 27% raise will actually be the same spending power or less than you have now. I'm not sure why people are saying, "congratulations."
