CRJ Right Seat to Netjets FO
Just curious if any of you have made the jump from 121 SIC to Netjets. The mins look like 2500TT. I've got about 1500 PIC, 500 multi, and I'm currently SIC on a CRJ 200. Just trying to map out the future a little bit Netjets has always been something that interests me.
Thanks in advance!

I know plenty of guys that went to NJA with only right seat CRJ time... All of the ones I know were furloughed from Independence Air. Most had TT's around 4000 and over 2000 of turbine/CRJ time. I was offered an interview with 4200TT and 3400 Turbine, no turbine PIC.
You do have to have your ATP though to get an interview.

Chris,
I politely declined to interview with NJA for personal reasons (mainly at the time they were in contract negotiations and I couldn't justify moving for a potential strike)... I guess that in retrospect, I do wonder how life would be different now if I had gone to NJA in early 2005. That said, I ended up taking a part 91 gig flying a corporate Citation Encore though. The job has been great and I wouldn't trade it for the world right now.
Like I said before, I know several folks at NJA (in just about all the fleets) and 99% of them have enjoyed working for that company and the lifestyle it brings much more than working for an airline.

Josh,
Thanks again for the response! I LOVE the idea of 7 on, 7 off.... knowing your sched. far out in advance, etc. The 121 world is treating me well right now, but talking to some of the senior captains at my airline---it seems to wear on you pretty quickly. Oh well... I guess this is all part of the "real world" that I used to think seemed so awesome when I was a kid
