“We need to keep our ask low on pay rates because of our amazing vacation and work rules.”
Well now I expect higher pay rates (industry standard) in our contract as well as keeping our current work rules to compensate for them gutting our vacation whenever they seem fit.

Every time our MEC makes a decision to cancel an LOA or file a lawsuit the pilots are the ones who get hurt.
LOA 65 cancelled by ALPA got August vacations cancelled and 200 letter threatening pilots with their job. It also got 3 probationary pilots fired.
Lawsuit filed by ALPA against the company got September vacations cancelled.
Do you see a pattern here? Is this what ALPA wants? Any of the moves ALPA has made has benefitted this pilot group. And our MEC/negotiating committee won’t up the ask? I’m starting to lose confidence in the decisions and tired of the rhetoric when I attend pub events.

Yeah Duct,
these guys are scumbags and these actions by them are disgusting and wrong on so many levels. It’s not ALPA. In fact your whole post is the company’s wet dream. They want you to believe everything you just posted. Sac up my man, it’s going to be a long fight.

I heard ya’ll lost September vacations now too?
Why would anyone want to be a new hire in such a toxic management environment? Crap pay & crap treatment. Probationary pilots getting fired. I guess if your ego is such you need to brag about flying a larger airplane than RJs?

We might be jumping to conclusions about this judge. I read those reviews and it sounds like he's an angry sob who doesn't like hearing bullsh*t. This should work to our advantage!
Remember, we have a much much stronger case then the company does. In fact, the company really has no case to argue at all. And based on past negotiations, I believe the ALPA lawyers will arrive better prepared then the company. This judge might be an angry old guy, and that might be a good thing!
Some of the reviews on that website say that he's biased, but none of them said how or why. You guys are assuming he's biased against us, but we definitely don't know that. I believe we have a winning case here, especially considering we have the LOA67 arbitration ruling in our favor already.
I'm actually more concerned that this case still won't produce a deal. The judge ain't writing a contract for us. We will still have to negotiate a deal after this lawsuit is settled.
And.... sorry to my brothers and sisters who are getting their September vacations taken.
