I doubt HoneyBaked “knows” anything that we don’t. They’re just stating what is arguably obvious (except possibly the November class being full). I have no inside information but I’m confident no deal was reached and I’m also confident that 50% of December vacations will be canceled.
Next year I anticipate we’ll see 75%+ vacation cancellations by summer. I’d also be surprised to see a ratified agreement by the end of next year. Realistically I think we’ll be in 2020 or 2021 before we sign a deal. I’m working on being gone by then.

I mostly agree. I dont think we'll be held up until 2021 though. If we are, how many other carriers are going to be almost done with their second contract? Can you imagine being 2 cycles behind? Just shut the doors at that point.

Parking airplanes with $300,000 a month leases? Somehow I don't think that's the master plan here. Last time I checked, Indigo liked making money.
This process is unfair and beyond frustrating, but we will eventually get a contract and the airline will continue its plan. Everyone has known all along that Indigo wouldn't budge until they absolutely had to. And so far, they don't have to. Heck, they are only canceling half of our vacations!
They may pull a plane or two offline to be used as spares to clean up the disastrous sub 50% on time performance, but there's no way we are "parking the new planes".
They are running a business. We are just an inconvenience and a large cost and they are trying to minimize us as much as they can. They aren't shutting the doors on their cash cow.
