And Spirit maintains 4 days off between pairings. That seems to be overlooked, but valuable. With PBS it’s waivable, by the pilot, and will be reviewed in 6 months by the union to see how it’s working in conjunction with PBS

And I believe Spirits block time begins with wheel movement and ends when aircraft comes to a stop at the gate. It’s also based on per day not per leg. I can usually over block about 2-3 hours a month if their isn’t a massive trip rig on the pairing!

Please correct me if I’m wrong

F9 faces the same we at Spirit ran into, NMB! I find it very strange how many have missed this fact completely. The NMB pull the strings and was very happy with our ~43% pay raise. You can vote no. Jump up and down, run all the numbers you want. Convince the NMB you are UAL plus and the rest is easy. Fact is you vote no plan on another 6 months on ice. The ice time is design to break your will. I'm sure your Union will break this to the group during the road show that's coming. If the Union really thought UAL scales were attainable then they wouldn't send this out for a vote. Good luck with the NMB. Vote no and tell your Union leadership UAL or no deal!!

Why are pilots on this thread using Spirit as a measuring stick. It’s the bottom contract. Not something to strive for.

And the 125% over 82hrs isn’t worth much as pointed out. It’s in there as psychological motivator to get folks to pick up extra time. In doing so it essentially eliminates the chances of premium pay events as pilots gobble up open time for a few extra hundred bucks thinking they’re getting rich.

and no we didn't even ask for Delta, we just asked for industry average, and yes the rates are lower than Spirit and somehow we are going to make up for it with work rules?

TA's rates as of 3/2/19:
CA.......FO
1....183.70.......57.64
2....198.83.......107.58
3....201.92.......115.56
4....206.04.......122.10
5....208.10.......129.53
6....210.17.......134.88
7....213.42.......141.04
8....219.78.......145.26
9....225.26.......151.12
10...230.90.......154.88
11...233.50.......158.64
12...244.68.......162.40
Why post those lousy rates. Are you not embarrassed by them? What a *****

But the NMB doesn't vote pilot contracts, weak d^ck, self-devaluated pilot groups do.

Is F9 Alpa going to actually show anything else of substance? Or is this it? Why would I think it was anything other than what we see? Every step of the way has been a huge disappointment and to watch this pilot group immediately buckle and give up pbs so we can vote in a sub-spirit contract is a total embarrassment. NK's contract is vastly superior to what F9 Alpa wants to cram down our throats.

So, what are we going to see that makes up for all of the sub-Spirit bullet points we're looking at?

I contend that the "wait and see" voices of reason are either dishonest about that or nieve. It sounds logical but not when you pay attention to the reality of events that have transpired. Go back to your 9-months-ago self and imagine that you'd be rationalizing voting in something this horrendous after what your union expressed to you.

Unfortunately guys here are stuck in small, bankrupt, beat down airline mode. Even one of the NC members bragged about how many credits he could attain by working on one of his vacations.

I’m not interested in selling points of what happens after 82hr. Nor how many credits I can attain by working on my vacation days.

I’m interested in what happens for 75hr a month, our guarantee. Also enjoying my vacation days off and my other days off in a normal month. Not being strapped to flica alerts to go over 82hr.

In fact we should have negotiated a CREDIT CAP. Let’s promote growing the seniority list and making more people captains.

How about working smarter for more rather then working harder for more. How about an industry average wage so you can work your schedule and enjoy your days off?
