Frontier Negotiations Discussion

Then I will vote NO if PBS is included! Spirit lowered the bar by accepting PBS with those awful pay rates! I stand by my words.

Way to bring up old stuff. Learn that from my wife? Seriously though this PBS talk is all just pilots speculating. And it’s good we fly planes better than we speculate. PBS being in a TA is as unknown as when we will actually see a TA. Everybody needs to calm down, fly the contract, and spread the truth to potential recruits. Literally NOTHING has changed from the beginning of the year to now.
Point is, karma is a motha' when you run that mouth. Only difference is I won't come on here and call the Frontier group anything negative whenever you vote in a deal, regardless of what is it. You make the best decision as a group and march forward.

Old stuff? This guy basically called my group trash, less than a year ago, for accepting something very may well be brought to a theater near you.

So I hurt your feelings...not my problem. Now you need to name call to feel better and come over here and hope we don't get a better TA so you can sleep at night. Spirit lowered the bar and you won't change my mind on that. Now you are trying to justify your yes vote by attacking me. I voted no 2 times at Mesa. I will again if it isn't to my liking. As for Mesa, I realized I competed against guys like you who was willing to take any carrot put in front of them who didn't know what cards they had and how to use them to get what you deserve. With that cancer you will never get what you deserve. I learned at Mesa I didn't want to work for a pilot group such as Spirit. Young and clueless. I don't see the same mindset at F9. It's an older pilot group who gets it.

You have no idea how I voted, I did happen to vote "no". Point is you attacked the Spirit group, declaring Frontier will never have PBS. I pointed out that running your mouth can sometimes come back on you. So how you vote, is of no consequence if PBS were to be voted in. Right? Because I voted "no," it was voted in at Spirit, but you stand by your position that we lowered the bar.
No getting around the fact that you went from one of the lowest paying regionals to the lowest paying Airbus operator. So rationalize your decision and thought process, doesnt change those facts. So the fact you claim Spirit "lowered the bar" is incredible, all the while you are signing up to fly for the lowest Airbus rates around, further hurting the negotiating effort of the Frontier group. I guess the SJS runs strong with you.

Actually a lot has changed since the beginning of the year. The Chief pilot puts out a letter about how important work/life balance is and that family should always come first. Then 3 months later goes ahead and takes away pilot’s vacation. He does so out of seniority also! (Says nothing about bases in our contract). We were unofficially iced by the NMB. Not a thing happened in regards to contract talks for 6 months. The company’ disdainful attitude towards the pilots (and all employees) continued to grow with Barry heard screaming on the 5th floor “why can’t I fire all these fu!c!ng pilots”. And so 5 days ago we get a letter that simply says some progress has been made. Don’t forget the level of people we're dealing with. Don’t trust a thing they say. And let’s not waste any more time talking about the concession PBS until if/when we see an AIP

Must be nice having all the answers. I guess your crystal ball had it all spelled out when you chose Frontier.

I didn't call your group trash. I said sellout. You sold the farm before you needed too. I could have and probably should have used a better term but I am upset with the Spirit group. The new TA basically gave Spirit PBS for free...

For free! Perfectly said. I have a lot a friends at NK but they did sell themselves short. I hope to god this group has bigger balls. If the TA is not worthy.... nooooooo. Wait it out. We can do it longer than the big BIFF. He’s in the hot seat, not us. It will only get worse for him. Airbus 320 rates and absolutely no concessions (we’ve taken all the multiple concessions we need to the last 10 yrs.) or no. End of story.
