Interview
Be ready for a long day. Keep your phone off and in your luggage. Make sure you talk to EVERYONE and keep a positive attitude. It's a long day, but you'll know that day if you got the job. I second aviationinterviews.com for prep. Good luck!

Showed up at 7:00am I believe. All went to auditorium (but HQ was located someplace other than where it is now so I don’t know if that’s the same). Met other prospectives and received briefings about the company from the Biffle, the CP (who is also gone) and a few others.
Then got shuttled off into the cafeteria where we could mingle with each other and other mgt types (mostly mgt pilots like Asst CP, Dir of Ops, etc). They are watching everything you do and listening to everything you say. They watch for who interacts and who doesn’t.
Then, there are two “interviews” - one with a group that includes an HR rep, some other pilots and I think a mgt person. Basic questions like “Why Frontier?”, TMAAT, etc. They will look at your paperwork/logbook then. About 30-45 mins if I remember correctly. Then back to the lunchroom. More mingling and lunch (waiting). Then another interview where they hand you a flying scenario and ask you to handle it. Mine was an unresponsive FO who was sick, weather and would I divert or not. You got 7 mins which goes by quick. Then back to the cafeteria for more waiting. Somewhere around 4;30 or so, there were callouts. Called several people by name in a group (about half). They were all told no. Then another group about 1/2 of who was remaining. I’m told they were told no but we’d like you reapply in 6 months. Then the remaining were offered. My group started with 22 and 8 were offered if I recall.
Overall, somewhat of a nerve racking experience but not too bad overall.
In all seriousness, if you really want to come here, I wish you the best of luck. I do realize that despite all the negativity, this place is still better than a few others (I’m from a regional as well).
Study Jepps. Chairfly decision making like calling the company, working with the FAs, etc. Keep in mind this was years ago...
Good luck

If you want the job, show up prepared and professional. Leave your cell phone in your hotel. Stand up and chat. Smile. Be happy. Be positive.
Then you must convince them that you believe the ULCC business model will be successful long term and grow in the market place. Then convience them that you won't leave for United on your last day of IOE.
That's it. No tricks, but you have to impress everyone. Frontier is picky to a fault. We have turned down a ton of good people

I've read on a few other threads that there has been an increase in the rate of those washing out of training. Any insight as to what the issue(s) seems to be, or what background these folks have? Just curious as to what folks can do to better to prepare for training and be successful. I only ask as I have been invited to interview, but my entire background has been Pt 91 corporate.
