I’m curious about Frontier’s training and didn’t see a thread specific to this topic. So here it goes mine....
How many sims do new hires get? Is it like Spirit that you only get 4 and there’s a high washout rate? That’s my biggest beef with Spirit and why I won’t consider them.

If anything it’s too many sims. You’ll be burnt out and ready to get it over with by sim 6. Put in a reasonable amount of effort in training and there will be no issues.
I’ve been flying with a lot of guys fresh off OE lately and everyone has been sharp. I guess Expressjet’s loss is Frontier’s gain.

Caution: 100 Percent Ready to Strike
The training isn’t the problem!!!!
Paying money to work at this company is!!!
How much $ are you going to lose by working here. Why give these guys a year of abuse on reserve in Vegas or Denver. You’re going to take a pay cut and pay for lodging. It’s gonna cost more than just getting your own A320 type if thats what your after. Do the math! You’ll come up short, and you’ll be attached to this stink hole until you can get out! Starting at the bottom is not fun, why should you do it for these Aholes who are laughing at you and profiting off your back cause you fell for their trap. Spend your time and money trying to get somewhere that is worthy of your time!!

It's good you're aware of your limitations, especially if your plans are to move on. It's not worth the blemish on your record, though I will say plenty have moved on with said blemish.
Personally I'd be chasing down jetBlue, even spirit or allegiant, uless you actually like working for 60-80% less than everyone else. As we're seeing, it appears frontier is some time away from a TA and given some of the comments here about parts they agreed upon, there is no way it would even be ratified if presented.

The amount of wash out rate that picked up last year has nothing to do with only having 4 sims. Most of those guys were already struggling during the CBT or FTD portion. If you go back 2-3 years it's rare to see anyone wash out, you can usually see it coming before that person even get to the sim portion. Having 8-10 sims probably wouldn't have a made a difference to some of these guys. This is from what i've observed from our training department.
