Only downsizing and laying off were support peeps at Hq, NOT Pilots/frontline employees. Best of luck to you gents. Y’all deserve way better than your scum bag management has offered/refused to offer!

There’s always 10-15% No no matter what. But if you’re referring g to the discussions here. That’s what it’s for to find the bad and the worse. End of the day this contract is a HUGE improvement from where we were and brings us up to the level of the other major carriers. There are a few guys who got “screwed” but not really.

jetblue guy here-
Pay rates are “okay”. Many expected more, but it keeps us in the middle of our peer set. According to the blast mail, it gives us approximately an 18.5% raise. As a bus FO here, that gives me about a $30/hr raise
We have a large number of redeye flights, so our $13/hr night over ride is a big deal. If any portion of the flight is scheduled to touch the 1a-5a “redeye section” the entire flight gets the $13 override.
We have 5 days that pay 200% (Christmas never has staffing issues).
Our biggest gains IMHO are our scope And scheduling language. Scope isn’t as good as Southwest, but close. No “jetblue express” or capacity purchase agreements are permitted.
I’ll attach our contract so Y’all can look through. We all hope you get the contract you have all worked so hard for.

Based on the feedback on the JB page I don’t see many others stating “this contract brings you up to levels of other majors”. In fact after looking over the TA bullet points and comparing it to AA,UA,SWA and DL it is still well behind. Areas it falls short is retirement, hourly rates, profit sharing, work rules, etc. Not only is it currently well behind it will become even further behind in the next 2 years as all of those stated above move the bar up.

I'm sorry but this CBA puts Jetblue in the ballpark with those other airlines you mentioned. Retirement is currently higher than SWA for another year and a percentage point below the Legacies. Section 1 and 25 are strong. Vacation is standard. Payrates could be better especially with only a 2% Cola I agree. Profit sharing is in line with AA, and with fuel/oil prices starting to spike again, profits will be lower industry-wide anyway. For a first CBA, I think JbuAlpa did a tremendous job from what we had before.
