Jan wasn’t in Comply but on the myfrontier site. Feb not up yet but maybe next week, at least on the website.

ExecNav 02-01-2019 05:49 PM

Everyone but the February class is listed at the end of CBA 2019.

What's in the new contract for dropping trips. Nk has 75% coverage that must be green (drop able) for line holders with no minimum per month

Prettywhacked1 02-02-2019 10:23 AM

I believe for now we will continue using the same 3 tables from when the month starts, then 4 days out/green or red, then an AM PM coverage vs open trips for the week of.
I hear PBS/Navblue will leave 4% of trips unassigned, so dropping should be possible, especially with six reduced requires credit months a year.
I’m certain others can explain better.
Good luck!

In 2019 we can drop down to 60 hours minimum, instead of 70 hours minimum, for 4 months that the company chose; March, April, September, and October. Starting in 2020 there will be 6 months that we can drop to 60 hours instead of 70 hours.

Is this for lineholdees only? Or reserve as well?

Lineholders only

Technically reserves are allowed to drop reserve days with crew scheduling consent, but I’ve never heard of a single instance where that request was granted.

Mixed relief line reserve days. An email request is all that's needed.

Is there typically (or contractually) time between Denver and OE? Will they work with you to go home for a couple of days?
cheers

Nothing contractual but the lady in charge of scheduling is a blessing to the pilot group so a simple email can do wonders.

thanks!

I was a bit over a week between loft and ioe. We had some guys wait 4+ weeks sto start. As was said the lady who does training scheduling is right there in the training facility and and just an email away.

Good to hear, keep them and the upgrades coming.

GulfstreamBro 02-04-2019 11:56 PM

Hey guys. I’m interviewing again. Was unsuccessful 8 months ago. Applied and got invited for another chance. Do you recommend interview prep? It seems like the process is still the same as it was in April of 2018. Cheers.

The process hasn’t changed in years, however the competition today is steeper than it was 8 months ago. No offense, but whatever prep you did before the last interview was ineffective. So, seems to reason you should do something different this time if you want the job.

If you’re looking for a recommendation Lori Clark is widely considered to be the go-to for F9 professional prep.

That's Lori Clarks site. She is the best interview prep for Frontier

Yes the process is the same, I personally recommend just getting the questions off aviationinterviews.com and have someone close to you ask you the questions and give you feedback. You just have to get comfortable expressing yourself, and be able to sell why you want to work for F9. Aviationinterviews will save ya 480 dollars, and I believe it’s just as effective.

What if last time he spent the $500 on prep and it got him the job but he instead just read the gouge and got a TBNT? How much would that $500 have SAVED him from not losing seniority, pay, retro, etc over the last 8 months?

IMO nothing says “I want this job” like spending the time and money on Lori’s services. Interview prep is cheap insurance amortized over the course of a career.

I’m just going off my own experience. In my interview group 4 used Lori and only 1 got the job. She is not the end all be all. From what they told me she was a lot of “fluff”.
I’m just saying there are other options, some a lot more affordable. Nothing says you want the job more than preparation...however You choose to prepare.
I would assume just the fact he is willing to go back and give it another shot will tremendously help him out.

Punkah Louvre 02-05-2019 09:30 AM

2nd chance

Another perspective:
You’re not going to be asked back a third time. If it were me; I’d do everything I possibly could to succeed.
Gouges and Prep service; hardcore simulated interviews with friends et al.
Best of luck

flysooner9 02-05-2019 09:41 AM

Emerald coast offers a refund if you don’t get the job. Could be a good option if your that worried about money.

PulledBreaker 02-05-2019 10:38 AM

Knowing what I know now, I'd have paid Lori double her rate. No question.

Genuinely shocked if that’s true.

GhostRider22 02-05-2019 05:56 PM

Lori has had the highest Frontier success rate for well over a decade. She knows the process inside and out. She did my prep 13 years ago. Of my interview group, she prepped 5 of the candidates and 4 received job offers. As someone who has seen the process and known the players for a long time, trust me. If at the end of the day you don’t get the offer, you know you did everything you could. Remember, the cost of the interview is pennies of what you will make in your career at a Big Airline if you get hired. Furthermore, if it doesn’t work out, that money is not gone. You still have learned a tremendous amount to help you polish things up for your next crack at a job. Good Luck, I hope these posts help.

Wheelswatch 02-06-2019 06:25 AM

I know two guys who were turned down by F9, felt absolutely devastated; 2 months later they were in class at United. Things often happen for a reason.

P.S. Lori Clark = fluff? Ha that's funny. She's the definition of substance.

Only a complete douche would say otherwise. I’m batting 100% on two interviews at two companies with Lori. She’s tough and she cares.

I used Aviationinterviews.com and everything was spot on.
I was hired.

SLCLAX 02-06-2019 11:37 AM

Do they send an email invite for an interview? How long does it normally take to get the call if you meet all the minimums?

Just knowing the gouge isnt everything. Some people would benefit from having a stranger ask them the questions and give criticism on ones answers.

With how hard it is to get an interview 8n this industry, you can't over prepare.

BlackhawkIP 02-06-2019 02:09 PM

I've already posted before about Lori but everything POSITIVE said about her service is 100% correct. I did Emerald Coast and really gained a lot of insight from the audios and videos. When it got to the real person, it was not what I had expected and not very personal. I used Cage-Marshall who did my resume and airlineapps application. Both prep services helped, but in different ways. I do feel I got my money's worth and don't regret using either service.

I went with Lori for the one-on-one interview preparation. Being military, this was new to me and I wasn't going to leave a stone unturned to land the job I wanted. Like one other person stated, I didn't want to look back and say "I wonder if I would have done it, would I have received the CJO?" Lori is extremely knowledgeable in both Frontier and United prep and she will not hold back. Put on thick skin and prepare to work.

Did I go overboard on prep? Maybe, but I got the job I wanted at the airline I wanted to work for so I think it was worth it. To each their own but I consider it all part of the cost of landing the job we've all spend hundreds and thousands of hours preparing to land (pun intended). Best of Luck!

SlowATRDriver 02-06-2019 02:16 PM

How long does it take to get a interview since applying? Do they email or call you? APC states, they are hiring 300 this year. Any truth to this?

This is what we are being told also. They've hired almost 100 in the last 3 months, so sooner is better to assure you'll be off reserve for the summer hiring slowdown.

I was recently in ground school and they said they’re planning on hiring 400-500 this year. There was no mention of a summer slow down. I also realize that they lie about such things so anything is possible. Just passing along what they’re saying at the school house.

Aero1900 02-06-2019 03:07 PM

The chief pilot says 300 to 350 every year going forward.

Upgrades every month, except they might take a month or two off during the summer.
