For him, I believe it was just the review, fingerprinting, drug test, ID picture, and compliance docs with HR. I brought both my paper and electronic logbook. My paper shows checkrides, has written endorsements, etc. My electronic logbook is for totaling purposes. I spiral bound my Logtenpro logbook at staples. I had it printed out and it looked very nice. As for the beard I壇 definitely shave it. Even in training, they want you compliant with the grooming policy. No beards allowed. Maybe someone wiser can chime in but if I were you I壇 shave it. Get used to it if you池e doing 121 the rest of the way :)

Perfect, thank you for the timely response! Yes it is actually for the Cadet program. I guess it's finally time to let go of the beard :)
I did already complete my interview process as a Cadet, but I was unsure if there would be anything addtional I should prep for in person.

Hello all,

Few questions on my part. I recently got invited out to Denver to do my compliance and logbook review.

1. Is it a one day ordeal (fly in the day of and fly out same day) or should I plan for more days?
2. Besides paperwork, finger printing, drug testing, what else does it consist of?
3. What does logbook review consist of and is it advised to bring both paper and electronic (I have Logten and Foreflight)?
4. Should I expect any additional interview/interview style questions?
5. Lastly, I do sport a well kept beard. Plan was to wear a proper tailored suit throught my time there, but should I ditch the beard?

Thank you all for your time and patience

1. Yes One Day but don't risk a weather flight delay - I know many cadets who got stuck and never made it and had to reschedule. And to answer - No, they won't pay for a hotel the night before compliance.
2. Badge Photo as well.
3. You sit with someone, they open your logbook (PAPER ONLY OR PRINTED LOG10 and Tabbed with All Checkrides/Endorsements) They will check from Private to Commercial to CFI to make sure you were given proper certificate endorsements for your test.
4. If you are already accepted into the Cadet Program, No.
5. Treat it like you're going to be a pilot for the airlines. Beards are not common and usually you are shaved clean or a buzz. At least that is what I did. Even someone else with me said he missed his bushy beard but he knew it was exactly what needed to be done.

I would recommend flying in the day prior. Plan for a full day there, you can fly out that same day after the interview. The day will consist of logbook review, hr/technical questions, and a scenario based portion as well. Bring all logbooks, professionally printed and tabbed as requested. Ditch the beard, clean shaven or neatly kept mustache. Good luck

Thank you. I apologize, I should have disclosed that I am part of the Cadet program. My guess was that I am done with the interviewing process (I already completed HR and technical), but I was not sure if there are any additional interviews that take place during compliance and logbook review?

Ground school is in DEN, sims are in DEN or MCO for new hires.

Technically if you are in the Cadet Program coming from a part 61 background (and possible others?) you also are sent to ATP Jets In Dallas for 3 weeks before even seeing the Rocky Mountains.
Week 1: ATPCTP
Week 2: Airbus A320 Type Rating (This is where you will take your ATP Oral, Practical, and Type Rating all in one)
Week 3: Frontier Direct (This is where you learn some of the Company Flows and familiarization. These flows will be sharped and honed once you get to Denver after that)

Ok, figured. All I知 going off of was what the cadet who joined our interview group was doing. So I知 assuming you have a CJO contingent on successful completion of the logbook review and compliance process? If so, welcome!

Yes, I believe that is the case. Thank you very much, very excited for the next steps!

Collecting a couple of rec letters and then my app will be done. Going to come out of pockedt and do ATP/CTP next month. Do I need to actually go take the ATP checkride? I知 hearing so many mixed stories. Has anyone personally been hired with just the ATP/CTP and written complete?

I've heard people have been offered a CJO with a conditional statement stating you must get the ATP on your own. Meaning you have to go do a checkride in a multi on your own. I believe the only people who go in without an ATP are the program and flight school "flow" people. Also those people that got those CJOs with a conditional statement likely went to a meet the chiefs event to get noticed vs just getting an invite from hitting send online.

Let's be perfectly clear though: the ATP Jets program in Dallas is not Frontier training in any shape or form. You're not a Frontier employee while you're there, it's not taught by or run by Frontier instructors. It is not part of the Frontier Airlines approved training program (yes even the "Frontier Direct" part of the program)

Yes - Correct. Hence why you aren't paid those 3 weeks while in Dallas. However, the cost of that training is deducted from your Sign-On "Bonus" which the net cost is $15,000. When you get your type rating at ATP Jets you were essentially taught the Airbus Way. Once you get to Denver you are taught how to fly the plane the Frontier Way.
