Thanks for spoon feeding me, very much appreciated, I have dribbled some on my cheek mind cleaning that up too? Never saw the website as I am not on here all that much, can’t be bothered to go through hours of chat messages looking for something I didn’t know existed. Simple question I asked, you answered it in a passive aggressive manner so thanks for that!

Now, about that dribble!

Canada won’t allow you in the country if you have a DUI. Big problem for a pilot of a US Carrier.

Hey all, just wanted to double check dress code and grooming standards for ATP in Dallas. I understand polos/shirt, but as far as grooming goes, no beards right?

A better question to ask yourself... As a professional pilot and new hire, how do I want to present myself?

A little bit of research goes a long way in finding a job in this racket.

If you're not willing to AT LEAST read a few pages of the hiring thread on APC before throwing in your app I fear this might not be for you.

Am I getting old? What's going on with the youths these days?

:p

No you’re just correct. The current view of normal is vastly different than previous generations. You can’t blame them though since this is what we worked hard to achieve.

Fair enough, that’s what I was thinking as well. Thank you!

I have flown with this one new hire (23 yo cadet wonder). twice in the last month. He was late both times on the first trip of pairing. Texted me on crew view letting me know but jeez.

Hello all. I had some questions about the three weeks in Dallas (ATP/CTP, Type and F9 Flows). I wanted to make sure I got a head start on the material before I show up.

I've started on the online ground school that needs to be completed before we show up for ATP CTP. Also got Shepperd Air and am looking over the questions for the ATM post ATP CTP.

As far as the rest of the material sent (flows, limits, memory items etc.), how much of that should I memorize before showing up for the type rating and then the F9 specific training? I understand the law of primacy and I did not want to memorize anything incorrectly if it will be taught in class the correct way.

Thank you

Unfortunately the law of primacy will be violated by going to do your type rating in Dallas then onto Frontier. You'll learn Airbus procedures in Dallas, then have to learn Frontier procedures when you get into class in DEN. There are differences, and some re-learning will be necessary.
