Fot the price, I think Travel Pro is hard to beat. Just under $200 with the crew discount. I almost bought that crazy expensive British one but settled for the TP at 1/3 the cost. Left training in May and have been flying a lot with it with zero complaints.

Is this crew discount a Frontier specific thing?

No, aircrews from all airlines are eligible. You have to sign up on their website.

Default E3

Is Frontier still hiring pilots on the E3 visa especially those with an FAA ATP and over 1000 hours part 121 time (US)?

My wife and I are thinking of returning to the US. Our daughter was born there and is a US citizen and I have a 4 year degree also and qualify as a pilot who can self sponsor a green card on the EB2 NIW program.

We tried making Australia work for us but financially we will be far better off in the US so I would like to return quickly on an E3 and do my green card whilst I’m there.

The requirements for the E3 Visa applicants are listed here:

First Officer E-3 Visa

No mention there of any previous 121 time needed. I'm guessing your daughter is under 21?

Yes she is only 6 years old. I do have over 3000 hours part 121 time in the US plus an FAA ATP already. I also did the A320 rating years ago with a bit of time on it. I have filled out the airline apps application so hopefully it gets picked up.

The sooner you’re hired by F9, the sooner you can qualify and go to a real airline…

I will be honest I’m not fully aware of all the dramas with F9, G4, NK even the legacies etc and what the future hold but it beats the crap out of the utter dog s..t they offer up here in Australia or Europe.

I also found my time flying with American pilots as an exceptionally pleasant experience. Down to earth and just get on with the job and I made a bunch of good friends for life.

I met some fellow South Africans over there who now live in the US and frankly I should have never left in the first place however it’s hard not being close to family.
