Yeah, it's kind of a tough ask but last time, it worked.

When people got mad at applicants I always told them that you can't assume every pilots knows what's going on here. If you're some corporate guy looking for a job and don't read this website, how the heck is he supposed to know that we are pushing to made the well dry up? He won't know, so it's not fair to hold it against new hires.

That being said, last time we were surprisingly effective at spreading the word and the applicant pool dried up.

it worked really well with that awesome contract you got.

Always happy to have you here to talk some sh|t.

Shes not an industry leader, but she's our contract!

And it was a massive improvement over where we were. I'm far wealthier today than I was back in those humble days. Thanks for your supportive words

Dude. Dream on. I did not count the number of new hires in the photo but it was definitely in the high 30s. With the regionals dialing back FO hiring and even some of the legacies doing so now as well, folks need to move past this weird fantasy that we are somehow going to run out of applicants. That ain’t gonna happen in the relevant future.

welcome to SJU!

Class MIGHT resume in March. I am telling you, they are looking at pulling the plug on the March class. Hiring folks told me straight to my face at HQ that this was a possibility.

Otherwise..

They sent a video update stating that:
1. Cadet, RTP, and off the street FO apps were closed UFN. Their hiring pool is backlogged to hell and back so anyone that is without a CJO right now you are unable to apply.
2. New hire bonus is gone, unless you've already signed an offer letter that has the bonus offer in writing. I for example have one I signed that has the offer. They could easily re-offer me a new class date with no bonus, but pretty soon there will flat out be no bonuses offered period.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to be in the hiring pool already. Feel bad for the dudes I watched get turned away. I might have seen the last two CJO recipients for months get their CJOs, so that was cool.

I don't see this as a bad sign for the company but I do see it as a sign things really are slowing down.

First, I have a hard time believing that The only person that knows what's going on is someone that doesn't even work for Frontier.
Secondly, my son is in the pool and hasn't receive this video you speak of.
Thirdly, Frontier said they are still accepting FO applications and I sent mine today. The Cadet and RTP applications have been closed for awhile.

Ive seen the video and it is directed at the pool pilots. Not stopping but “our pools are full…(we are) reducing hiring for a period of time to reduce the pipeline of pilots coming into Frontier….our Cadet program has exceeded our expectations.”

Also within the video is the confirmation that, “we are suspending the preemployment Bonus program until further notice.”

Looks like it was filmed within minutes of the anti-contract video we received.

I believe I misheard, I think it's just the RTP/Cadet apps being closed.

Everything else, largely confirmed.

I hope some of the CAs/mentors I've talked to are correct. Not encouraging when the dude who slots people in classes tells you a second new hire class might get cancelled. It's funny how some of the guys in training get the vibe that March and april will get canceled and line pilots seem to believe there will be two march classes. I hope they're right! lol

Just to clarify. If you’re referring to a previous post of mine I don’t think there will be two March classes. Just that they could be gearing up for that possible need in 2025.

Not just you. Multiple haha. Rumor is we'll hear an update on the 25th.

No new hire classes in February and possibly March. February vacancy will be to staff SJU. So the entire CA and FO SJU vacancy will be staffed with involuntary displacements. This just keeps getting better.
