I would not wait around for F9 if you are in the hiring pool. Yes the classes could resume, but I would keep applying to other airlines and not give up 6 months or more seniority if you can get hired somewhere else.
If the December rumor is true then Pref bid will be coming early next year possibly making things even more efficient. Plus I wouldn't trust this management team to tell me the sky was blue. |

I feel like this is just another knee jerk, overreaction by the company. Pat Ryan probably told BB that guys are picking up open time and the new pairings are more efficient leaving us fat on pilots. Biffle probably got real excited and said stop hiring for 6 months! Then, about 3 months from now, they will realize that they overreacted and start running classes again. I still believe an IPO is coming, but j also believe they will start hiring again well before December No knee jerk reaction. We simply voted in a contract that allows less staffing. It was asked multiple times at one of the road shows if less pilots would be required if this was voted in. We were told no, due to the companies high acft utilization rate. Not knocking it or being negative, just stating facts. We need less pilots nothing more nothing less. Wait until PBS kicks in. |

A new hire at Spirt, Jetblue, and many others would likely take much longer to upgrade, hold a line etc. than at Frontier. Those in the pool at Frontier are in a decent spot given the growth ahead. I would say it is wise not to give up their spot, unless it was for a favorite legacy carrier. |
