Oh my...so this thread has actually turned into a serious conversation about a Bloomington, IL base? Just when I thought pilots couldn’t get any dumber...

I’m willing to bet that 75% of air travelers would be willing to drive to BMI to avoid the ORD traffic. It’s mere common sense. On paper it may look like there would be a hit, but in actuality it makes the most logical sense.

I disagree. When you have 2 airports that are 20 miles apart but takes at least an hour to get to and THAT is a deciding factor on who you fly, not a chance BMI would work.

And yes... ridiculous conversation.
