I agree and wouldn’t call it whining. It is reality. Reserves regularly fly 3 day trips worth between 3 and 10 hours of credit. Some like it, many don’t. If you are a reserve, it’s hard to break the 75 hour guarantee when you are forced to fly a 3 day worth 3 hours.

Add to that, I recently saw a friends vacation month schedule. Using one week of vacation, this person was able to get the whole month off, except for one day, where a turn was required. Those days are gone with PBS. That is a HUGE concession in my book, with nothing in return.

Oh wait, many will say we got a huge pay raise in return. We got industry bottom rates in return. Yes, it was a big bump, simply because this ‘yes’ group had given away so much previously, and for such a long period of time.

We gave away QOL, which we will never get back. And we had been promised we would never cave on PBS.

Now you're offering a rational point of view, much of which I agree with. The other dude was whining, which is annoying.
