Flight benefits on F9, yes. But you’re out of CASS so you will be very limited on other airlines. Very few airlines allow ZED faring for furloughed employees.

the Dr is correct. From section 23 of the CBA:
G. JUMPSEAT AND PASS PRIVILEGES WHILE ON FURLOUGH
1. All Pilots on furlough shall retain space available pass privileges on the
Company route system in accordance with the Company Pass policy as if he
were not furloughed.
2. Subject to applicable law, the Company agrees to provide all furloughed
Pilots with on-line jumpseat authority

Now is a good time to ask for profit sharing when they come forward asking for our help.

I like where your heads at too... they would burn down the emerald palace, lick a coronavirus test tube and laugh at us until they defecated and urinated themselves before they would give .000001% profit sharing away

So your saying there's a chance?

I do want to make a point about the likely chance of concessions. IF we are put into a position where we vote on pay cuts, we must make sure that there are automatic snap backs, and this time I don't want to wait 5 years for it.

I'll give them a 3 to 6 month pay cut, but it has to automatically snap back to book rates after that. No more waiting years for a recovery to book rates. Lesson learned.

I’m a no pay cut voter. Temp pay cuts won’t do much to keep the doors open and are a tiny fraction of each ticket price. We have given enough concessions to Indigo. Even our CEO has deferred 20% of his own salary... not taken a cut, deferred. Decreased line value to save jobs I’m OK with but that’s it. We aren’t an ATM.

I also believe our elected boys will negotiate the best options they can when they need to.

I don’t like where your heads at... this is not on the pilots to fix... this wasn’t anyone’s fault but the pilots are out there doing a great job in the face of adversity... I understand that the company is in harms way financially but they had a chance to make things right with us 100 different times and they chose to jerk us around... they can use the millions they saved not paying us to fix this... they’ve made billions on the backs of the pilots and flight attendants here... we earned what we have... they can get creative and figure it out... maybe instead of “deferring” cheeseburger king’s salary, it should be
figured into the cost of doing business until they can figure out how to turn a profit again... that’s a good starting point

Just so you know that’s exactly what happened last time. It started with a 3 month pay cut. Once it happens management keeps coming for more instead of focusing on generating revenue.

But wasn’t that with companies that couldn’t make a profit if they tried? I think Indigo should be evaluated independently, not based upon previous management. i.e. relevant facts.
