If I had the choice on a $40 fare on Delta or $40 fare on Frontier, I’m sure not choosing Frontier.

I wouldn’t look too hard to find wisdom in any comment made by someone who uses a tail number for their anonymous chat forum handle, especially when that aircraft was last registered by William King of West Falls NY in 2006 and his APC account was created in 2014. You might as well you use your SSN for your handle.
There have been quite a few legacy trolls (or “legacy” trolls in the case of BWIpilot) floating around the lowly forums of the ULCCs. |

You all sound like Apollo 8 Commander Frank Bormann, who went on to be Eastern’s CEO. How’d that work out? Moral of the story is pilots make really bad airline CEOs as in most of you have no clue as to what you’re talking about regarding the industry going forward.

The reality is that you yourself criticize everyone from the president to the postman on a daily basis without having deep insight into their jobs either. And the current pandemic clearly illustrates that those chief executives you deem pilots so unworthy of questioning couldn’t see the future coming for jack ****** either. |
Voluntary vacation travel is likely going to be depressed for the next 1.5-2 years.
Business travel will return to some extent, but not where it was pre-convid. I believe the seat inventory is far to great in the industry to support added airframes in the near term. Best guess is that orders will be deferred or canceled. |

I disagree on the idea that voluntary vacation travel. I feel that will be one of the first things back. When all the vacation destinations open back up people are going to want to get out of the house and for the lowest cost.

Yes, but not at risk to their personal health. Especially in a 3rd world country with questionable healthcare. I think it will stay down significantly until people have been vaccinated en masse. Until then demand will likely be greatly suppressed. That is probably 18-24 months away.
Or are you gonna tough it out ? 🤔 |
