Paying 55 hour a month to captains on top of the scale instead of them making 80/90 hours a month saves a lot more than furloughing two first year FOs. Let’s see what they offer for long term leaves and that might mitigate the necessity to furlough.
No one will give one penny back no worries. Plus I can’t stand that ugly orange lanyard 😬. To be honest though from what I have been hearing at least the company is also not interested in this. I do think the company sees the domestic leisure market come back first. Remember June ? I know feels like ages ago but that’s what it will look like (ish) when all the NE states start opening up again. people wil fly (if allowed ) they just won’t spend much. So any (U)LCC set up for that model will be profitable fairly easy of that. |

Wasn’t PBS supposed to be such a huge money saver? It seems like that should have been implemented yesterday. I’m not super excited about it...but if it helps the bottom line and saves jobs let’s get it rolling!

ALSO, MAKE SURE YOU FILL OUT THE FORM TO EXTEND THE CARES ACT!!! I don't know how many emails we have to receive for us to fill it out. It takes 2 mins and could help the whole industry save jobs. Latest email by ALPA , we dont even have 48% of the pilot group who filled it out. That's not very many people.....Considering UAL is at 60% |

What furlough mitigation plans are in the works?
Early out retirement plans? (How many pilots do we have that are 60+, 63+? Long term COLAs? |
