I’m not sure it would be that much longer when it’s all said and done. A jcba wouldn't be done until 2024. Early opener is next year I believe. If we don’t merge the company should want to get something done asap. I don’t see how else they can slow attrition.
Do you not realize who you work for? |

Biffle already said we make the same as Delta, so I think those 321 rates should be easily agreed upon! But for real…we’re carrying wide body loads.
Having said that, I think it would be great for the F9 pilots if JB/NK happens, growth without real competition. You would definitely still get a better contract, but without the stagnation. I wish JB would have bought F9. |

No, you are not (and neither am I at NK), half the wide body revenue is below the floor.

I wish JB would have bought F9. Random thought that other day though…what if B6 moves toward the ULCC game? F9 used to be similar to B6’s model and changed. What’s to stop them from adopting NK’s model but keep B6’s brand? F9 would be in a rough position. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You keep beating this ULCC growth drum. F9 and Spirit, and even B6 are slowing growth due to not getting enough pilots and enough pilots to stay. Sorry but that fast growth unicorn isn't going to happen.
Totally agree. Until management understands that their cost model can’t apply to pilots right now(or for the next decade) we’re going nowhere. We could match DAL, UAL, AA pay scales tomorrow and we will still lose pilots to them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Gonna need to exceed the DL/UAL rates. Which they CAN afford.

That may slow the exodus a bit but it won't stop it.

Perhaps being proactive so operation doesn’t implode? Pilot shortage is not the issue here. Perhaps pilot retention? |
