I’m sticking to my original expectations, pay me what an A321neo pilot is paid elsewhere. It’s a number that’s already been agreed upon at other carriers and an argument can be made for it in mediation and when requesting to be released to strike. Expecting to get 767 rates, no matter how convincing you make the argument, is a setup for disappointment.
yes, much better argument and I agree, it's the most likely scenario.

But I would offer that one of you aforementioned highly unlikely scenarios (self-help) as the way to go here. Let's examine the situation...

Self help is RARELY used. When it is, it's usually because of some special/weird circumstance that it's even allowed. IIRC, the President blocked the last full on airline pilot strike. However, that was with a much larger carrier that impacted many more citizens. If there were EVER a situation that is prime for allowance, it's a lil bitty ol ULCC that is the lowest paid (and has been notoriously) working for an investment company w/ billions (and has been making profits for a while). Point being, we'll never know what we can get if we don't press to test.

Now, much like your sentiments above, I doubt this will happen as I don't have the faith in this pilot group to see it through. Too many will cave.
