A little dramatic there. Early on they said our peers are Sun Country, Spirit, and Allegiant so that’s what should be expected from them.

Are the pay tables on this site accurate for Sun Country and Allegiant? I think maybe not.

But obviously we will accept nothing short of industry standard compensation. I'm just doors curious where those airlines are is anyone knows.

I’m pretty sure the Allegiant pay rates on APC are accurate and they’re currently in drawn out negotiations while trying to figure out what union is best for them. It’s a cluster

Im sure the company still has no intent of getting this done anytime soon- They have just come up with a counter on compensation just to keep the mediator happy but it wont be anything realistic

They have said they expect contract hits to profits in 2026.

I doubt they want to do this twice. Consolidation is coming to the industry and they don’t want to pay now and again in a JCBA. Right now they are just stalling to stall.

I don’t think consolidation is in the cards for us. The Spirit ship has sailed twice. I doubt we would merge with anyone else. That doesn’t mean they are not going to stall though.

We are not in the same environment. It’ll be such a low ball offer you will come back and say I can’t believe I thought you were being “a little dramatic” but hey prove me wrong! Im all for that.

I tried finding the Allegiant company proposed rates but was unsuccessful. I thought they were near Spirit rates but it’s been too long and I could be wrong. Their current negotiation makes ours look like a cake walk so far. Sun country had the highest paid 737 pilots for a short bit until Delta came along and squashed those rates. Reminds me of what I read for Frontiers old situation.

As far as placing a bet I will give you a politely deserved “you win.” Then I will be even more dissatisfied than I expect to be in the case of me being correct. May we both be wrong and pleasantly surprised.

I’m much more inclined to believe the ex CEO of the worlds largest airline (dough parker) then your gut feeling on if spirit is going to happen later this year or whenever it does.

Not to bust your bubble. But, a certain CEO of another worlds largest airline says “ULCCs are screwed”.

Not that what you’re saying is incorrect. But, I feel like these guys go either way. (Kirby def goes either way )
