lol you and me both, although I am a cadet hire. I feel like it's never gonna come around for me. Feels as though any second they'll cut the cadet hires out or reduce how many of us make it in per new hire class, perpetually kicking the can down the road on my class date.

Since the Feb class got dropped december 21st, we've yet to hear anything. Hope you get that class date soon!

I'm not sure this will impact that anytime soon.

Same lol. Let's see how this plays out. At a regional right now and am seriously considering F9 for the rest of my career so hopefully things pan out well in the near future. Best of luck to you brother, hope we can get in soon

I feel for you guys for sure. Let me give you some insight though. Regionals and I mean any of them are not great either. I’d think long and hard before you jump one way or the other. I spent a year at my regional only flew a little over 200 hours. I was on reserve the entire time. Regionals used to be one of those things you’d go and do and get a bunch of jet time but ever since the flood gates have opened at the legacies they can’t keep the amount of captains they need to fly all the FOs. If you got the hours and upgraded, in two months you were heading to the legacies. Weird times for sure.

Frontier and Spirit have not decided to merge yet again. It may never happen. For us it’s status quo so far. I can only assume NK attrition is about to skyrocket.

I got a lot of friends at NK who said if we merge, they are leaving. So a lot of people leaving everywhere regardless.

Yeah, the guys who are fortunate enough to get into a regional aren't flying much. Hell some of those dudes are doing a year on reserve. It's slow all over.

its almost a 100% chance F9/NK merge now. Nk is about to go back to the negotiating table as required by the current extension and probably get more $$ which will be the starting point for a future JCBA for F9/NK
