if and thats a big IF F9-NK try again, it will not change in any way hiring in the near future. We have planes coming and need people to fly them.

Thanks, that's what I had figured. Gonna be an interesting year. If they end up trying it again and it goes through, how would bases change/look like? I'm still pretty new to this and have only been at a 121 gig for under a year. Planning on moving closer and aiming for PHL but if something could happen to that I don't want to uproot everything

That judge would never approve NK/F9 merger. Read it, he has a very strict interpretation of the Clayton Act. For him, it is sufficient that the merger may reduce competition on any route. And he only required preponderance of evidence to determine it. And unless appealed, the next judge will rely heavily on this case.

So tell us more about this ruling, the Clayton Act, and how you think you know the future.
More APC experts talking about what they think the know. Shut up and fly the damn airplane. Don’t talk about legal precedent.

Dude….. all the “preponderance” on APC from legal/financial experts about the NK/JB merger. Look at how much $$$ everyone is crying about losing betting on that merger.

That would be nice for a change…. No one has a crystal ball. Show up do the job go home. If you don’t like where you’re at (not you specifically) then change it in my humble opinion. Sitting here guessing what is going to play out is only going to make one’s head explode. Control what we can control the rest who the ******* cares. We’ve already seen clearly BB and BL don’t give a flying F what we want with the new bases and the massive disruption it’s going to cause. One could argue that merging with spirit isn’t a good idea at this point either. But again we don’t have a crystal ball we can’t control what management does. My advice to anyone is save yourself the heartache of trying to figure out what’s happening next you will drive yourself mad. If you don’t like the way things are trending this might be the best time in industry history to exit. If you choose to stay then that’s your choice and have accepted whatever may come out of your control.
