Pedestrian struck on runway in DEN

Sounds like a planned suicide. FFT4345 struck the pedestrian on 17L takeoff roll and subsequently aborted takeoff with an engine fire, smoke in the cabin and passenger evacuation of nearly full 321neo.

I feel bad for the crew for having to go through such a traumatic event. Good job on the rejection and evacuation.

Ingested some birds on takeoff roll once in a 737. Smells like fried chicken but nasty.

Keep an eye out for the new “Shredder 1 Arrival” into KDEN.

Sorry for those folks and good job crew. Why some choose to go out in ways like this is beyond me.
