The company is going to start doing both. They really were getting the candidates mostly from the job fairs lately. The company needs to get back to both and I heard they were going to do both job fairs and get back to Silver Bullets.

Quick question for those that have reached year two pay. When do you see it? I.e. Hired in April 7th, do I see it on my April 5 or 20 paycheck? The CBA states : When a Pilot is advanced from one Longevity pay status to
the next, pay in such status will begin at the beginning of
the pay period that includes the anniversary date.
To me that sounds that I will begin to acrue the new rate 1-15 April. Some of my classmates believe it means that you will see it on the April 5 paycheck.

I am a Denver commuter now as a 121 regional FO with 3k tt, 2k turbine. I could stomach the pay as long as I could drive to work. I'm just terrified of getting displaced to the east coast forever to low pay... did the recruiters discuss any Denver plans at these job fairs?

on my interview day, they said that the last class of new hires had a few denver awards. they said they didn't know for sure but most would get chicago. i know two pilots who have been at frontier for a little over a year. the guy who was awarded chicago said he was only on reserve for about 1 month. the guy who was awarded denver is still not holding a line.
here are my thoughts: denver is definately an f9 base. i doubt it will ever go away entirely. even if you don't get it out of training, there is a mathematical certainty you will be able to hold it eventually as the company grows. is it so bad to commute for a year or so?
